Paraty house by Marcio Kogan

This House tucked away in the mountains seeks to share its bird’s eye view on the coast of Paraty, town located between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Developed on the basis of two horizontal boxes, the construction allows to distinguish pieces to live private areas by offering one of them a large canopy panoramic on the Bay. The Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan, who has designed this book with Suzana Glogowski has optimized this bias by exploiting the roofs of the two volumes to build terraces. The invitation to the outside is continuous. From inside as outside, House boldly blends into the surrounding nature.
